ABOUT YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a Payroll and HR Admin Specialist to cover a maternity leave (estimated 8-9 months) at our office in Spain. This is a part time position for 28 hours per week (70% FTE).

This person will be responsible for managing the payroll, benefits administration and HR administration for our Materials and RBIS divisions in Spain (circa 121 people).

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Manage monthly payroll for RBIS and Materials group for Iberia, working with payroll provider and Finance to complete the monthly cycle

Payroll reporting and audit checks

Provide HR administrative support throughout the employee life cycle – e.g. offer letters, onboarding to terminations and exit interviews.

Manage employee benefits, including company cars, health insurance, maternity/paternity

Maintain accurate electronic and hardcopy employee records

Support Finance with Payroll related information, e.g check monthly tax forms or manual payments

Support HR to facilitate local HR processes, e.g. relocations, recruitment, training, pay reviews

Qualifications

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

Minimum 2 years payroll experience

Some knowledge on employment laws, HR procedures and practices.

Excellent administrative and organisational skills, able to multi-task and keep track of several different activities at once.

Detail oriented, accurate & thorough, able to achieve objectives on time, able to prioritise and meet deadlines.

Able to maintain confidentiality.

Self motivated with a can-do attitude, able to work without supervision and able to work under pressure, ensuring that priorities are maintained and deadlines are still met.

Flexible and able to adapt to changing business requirements and changing priorities

Able to use initiative to challenge established procedures and make changes where necessary to increase efficiency.

IT literate, with understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, Google etc

HR PeopleSoft or applicable systems knowledge and experience a plus.

Fluent in Spanish and English
